Students play a Crucial Role in Environment Preservation: Kerkar



The Nature Club of MES College, Zuarinagar was recently inaugurated at the hands of eminent environmentalist and social worker, Shri Rajendra Kerkar. While addressing the audience on this occasion, Shri Kerkar stressed on the role of students in creating awareness and preserving the environment and various steps to be taken towards it. He also explained the importance of biodiversity and conservation of natural resources.

Vice Principal Prof. V.V. Sail welcomed the gathering, while Prof. Reshma Bandekar, Chairperson of Nature Club, introduced the Chief Guest. Miss Gayatri Biswas, student of FYBA presented poem on nature and environment. Principal Dr. R.B. Patil, delivered the presidential address. Prof. A.M. Sambargi proposed the vote of thanks. The function was compered by Prof. Shruti Nayak. The inauguration was attended by 126 student members and faculty which included Prof. B. S. Ingalhalli, Prof. Satyawan Naik and Prof. Dattaprasad Shirgurkar.
