The Department of
Travel & Tourism, M.E.S. College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar,
celebrated World Tourism Day in the Seminar Hall of the College. The Chief
Guest for this function was the former Deputy Director for Tourism Ms. Pamela
Mascarenhas and Chef Raj Nair from H.Q. Vasco was the Guest of Honour. Ms.
Pamela Mascarenhas spoke on careers in Tourism Business and Chef Raj spoke on
Careers in the Hospitality Industry. Dr. Cidalia Bodade, the Head, Department
of Travel & Tourism gave an aerial view of the subjects taught for the
Travel & Tourism course in the college which has completed 22 successful
years.

V.V. Sail welcomed the gathering and Ms. Rupali Shetye proposed the vote of
thanks. After the inaugural function, the students of Travel & Tourism
entertained the guests with a beautiful variety entertainment programme.
